Interested in manga and its potential for engaging community members of all ages? A little overwhelmed by the quantity of titles or new to the manga world? Anyone interested is welcome to join library workers from across northern New York for a manga reading and interest group. The group meets the first Tuesday of every month from 3:15-4:15pm.
Participants work collaboratively on collection development and programming ideas, read and discuss professional works about manga, and share their thoughts with colleagues. People can contribute manga recommendations or simply join to listen. Ultimately, the goal of the group is to attend to increasing community demand for manga and ensure wide access to manga for all in the North Country. Contact Amy with questions: amy@nnyln.org
