What we do
The HS to College Interest Group provides a forum for high school, academic, and other librarians and educators to come together for discussion.
Research
Prepare high school students for college-level research.
Expectations
Provide high school students with expectations for when they get to college.
Transition
Ease transition for students and educators.
Collaboration
Share with other educators formally or informally collaborative efforts and innovative approaches to partnerships across fields and disciplines.
Meetings
Attend meetings throughout which are made available in person as well as online via Zoom. The group coordinates meeting agendas and other unique presentation ideas.
Lightning Talks
Engage in Lightning Talks which are short 15-minute presentations followed by 15-minutes of open discussion among participants about a project, an experience, collaboration related to the group’s intentions.
Our members
Members of the HS to College Interest Group are from regional academic, school library systems, and public school libraries.
