Interested in manga and its potential for engaging children and teens? A little overwhelmed by the quantity of titles or new to the manga world? Anyone interested is welcome to join library workers from across northern New York for a manga reading and interest group. The group meets the first Tuesday of every month from 3:30-4:30pm.
Participants read select manga titles and share their thoughts with colleagues. Folks can sign up for as many or few titles as they wish, and they can also simply join to listen. Ultimately, the goal of the group is to think regionally about coordinated collection development and programming, to ensure wide access to manga for all in the North Country.
