In this program, Melissa Jadlos and Ron Kirsop will outline a useful system for organizing, preparing, and staying current with all the critical documentation and information needed for efficient grant writing. They will also discuss common pitfalls to avoid and pro tips to include when completing grant applications.

Presenters: Melissa Jadlos is a recipient of the Library Journal Mover and Shaker award and director of Lavery Library at St. John Fisher College, Rochester, NY. In addition, she is the co-director of the College Library Director Mentoring Program which provides mentoring and leadership development to directors of libraries at small colleges. Melissa’s areas of interest include leadership, copyright, assessment, and mentoring.
Ron Kirsop serves 42 small and rural public libraries in Western New York as the Executive Director of the Pioneer Library System. He received his Project Management Professional certification in May of 2019 from the Project Management Institute and his Masters in Library Science from the University of Buffalo in 2011. Ron mainly focuses on implementing successful projects, team building, facilitating conversations, productivity, and trustee education.
