The Northern New York Library Network offers its members the opportunity to recognize one student worker at their library each spring semester. This year, the Network awarded seven deserving students, an all-time high for the award. Each student receives a framed certificate and a $25 Amazon gift card.
The academic and public libraries who participated this year wrote about how much they value this service and that their student workers are always surprised and appreciative. One school enjoys calling the student into the director’s office as though they may be in trouble for something but then find out that they are receiving an award for service.
We thank everyone for their participation and hope to have a record-breaking year again next spring!
