The North Country Virtual Manga Book Club is a monthly book club, launching in August 2026 and held via Zoom, open to anyone across the North Country of New York. It is a joint project of the Northern NY Manga Interest Group and will be facilitated by library workers from a range of libraries across the region, including the Akwesasne Cultural Center, Canton Free Library, Fulton Public Library, Gouverneur Public Library, Northern New York Library Network, and Plattsburgh Public Library.
The book club is for all ages. Parental or caregiver guidance and participation is recommended for participants under 13. Parents or caregivers of all participants, no matter their age, are welcome.
Come to the club and talk manga! What you love, what you crave, what to read next. Your libraries are looking to connect manga lovers, newbies and the curious of the North Country.
