Continuing Education Summer Destination event with John Brown Lives! will focus on a 19th-century “scheme of justice and benevolence” devised to give Black New Yorkers access to land and the vote. The day will feature an archaeological site tour with Dr. Hadley Kruczek-Aaron at Heaven Hill Farm (current site of the Timbuctoo Archaeology Project), followed by a visit to John Brown Farm State Historic Site for a special viewing of the “Dreaming of Timbuctoo” Exhibition, with lunch.
