Description: In this workshop participants will review basic library related sign language and expand with more interactive practice. Deaf culture will also be discussed. The workshop includes group instruction, demonstrations, and activities. Participants who attended this summers Sign Language workshop will find useful review and more interactive practice.
Beginners welcome – no need to have attended the first session.
Presenter: Miranda Johnson Stefano is a librarian, technologist, and bibliophile. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland iSchool and RIT School of Print Media. She enjoys sharing knowledge with others and is always looking for new opportunities to do so. Her specialties are communication, sign language, technology, and information literacy.
Refreshments will be provided. There is no charge for this workshop, but registration is required.
