Join us as we learn about two dynamic components of the workplace:

Conflict Resolution (10:30-12 pm)

Conflict is an inherent part of our lives. We face it on a variety of levels every day. This means that resolving conflict is less about “if” it will happen and more about being prepared to handle it when it does. In this presentation, we will discuss the different types of conflict, how to embrace the positive aspects of conflict, and strategies to successfully navigate conflict to a resolution. (Please register below)

Building Effective Teams (12:30-2 pm)

Teamwork accomplishes more goals than any other activity in your organization. This discussion will assist you in inspiring and motivating your team by talking about ways to encourage teamwork by adding trust, value, effective communication, and fulfillment to your organization’s working culture. (Please register below)

Presenter: Ron Kirsop is the Assistant Director of the Pioneer Library System, a cooperative system in western New York serving 42 small and rural libraries. Ron primarily focuses on trustee education, strategic planning, survey development, user experience, customer service, and team building.

Refreshments will be available during both; lunch will be provided for those attending both sessions.
