The University of Rochester is excitedly planning the 2017 meeting of the Upstate New York Science Librarians. The meeting will be held on Friday, October 20th, 2017 at the Carlson Library, University of Rochester, Rochester NY. Registration information is forthcoming.
This year there are two options for presenting:
Presentation: Throughout the day there will be several opportunities for presentations. Each presentation will be 15 minutes in length.
We invite posters that explore the following six themes through the lens of science librarianship. The posters need not be reports of original research or an active research project, literature reviews are welcome.
- Trends in research in higher education
- Trends in R1 research libraries (beyond U.S. and Canada)
- Trends in education (teaching and learning)
- Trends in scholarly resources
- Trends in student success
- Trends in technology
